What's new in each version. alt-tabr checks for updates when it launches, or anytime with Check for Updates… in its menu bar menu.

  1. 1.2.0

    • Show only the windows on the Space you're on, including ones minimized from it.
    • Show only the windows on the display you're using.
    • Hide minimized windows, the windows of hidden apps, or apps you choose.
    • Close, minimize, hide or quit from the switcher with W, M, H and Q.
    • Group windows by app, and pick the notch's text size.
    • Mark minimized windows with an icon, or not at all.
    • Choose which display the switcher appears on.
    • Glass: show every window at once, or use large icons like macOS's own switcher.
    • Carousel: larger icons, and the selection moves at once.
    • Previewed windows now appear above a maximized window.
    • Settings is organized into tabs, with a button to open this changelog.
    • Settings are reset to the defaults when you update to this version.

    • Restart alt-tabr in Settings is only available once you've saved a change.

    • Fixed updating: updates install reliably and keep the app's file permissions.
    • If an update fails, the reason is logged, so it can be tracked down.
